Ex-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Salim Muslimov has been arrested. SİA informs referring to the official website of the State Security Service (SSS).
SSS investigated the facts of numerous abuses of power by Salim Muslimov during his tenure as Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was established that abuses were committed during the organization of rehabilitation and social protection of disabled people and children with disabilities, implementing state control over employers' activities on labor, employment, social protection, and other powers.
Based on the collected materials, it was established that S. Muslimov deliberately used his official powers for personal gain to obtain illegal privileges.
