87 people died in emergency situations in Azerbaijan last year

The statistics of the emergency situations reported in Azerbaijan last year have been revealed, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations told SİA.

During 2020, 14780 natural and anthropogenic incidents occurred in the country, which is 1791 or 11% less than in 2019.

87 people died and 278 others injured in the natural and anthropogenic accidents. The ministry’s rescuers saved the lives of 41 people and evacuated 514 people.
