Two Azerbaijani citizens were killed and two others injured in a drone attack on the foreign cargo vessel TEDY in the Black Sea, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is coordinating efforts with the country's diplomatic missions and relevant authorities of the respective countries.

The injured citizens are expected to return home after undergoing medical examinations and treatment. The ministry is also taking measures to provide the necessary consular assistance and carry out procedures related to the remains of those killed.

The Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

"We once again urge Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to regions where hostilities are ongoing or the security situation remains unstable, from working in such areas, and from working on means of transport, including vessels, operating along such routes," the ministry said.
