US airstrikes in Iran kill 35 over past day, authorities say

At least 35 Iranians have been killed as a result of US Air Force strikes on the southern part of the Islamic Republic's territory, Health Ministry Spokesman Hossein Kermanpour said.

"As of 00:00, 35 civilians have become victims of the airstrikes," the official pointed out, as cited by the Tasnim news agency.

Kermanpour did not rule out that the number of killed citizens could rise.
