At least five people are believed to have been killed in a school shooting in the Austrian city of Graz, SİA informs via The Telegraph.
Police said a major operation is currently underway after gunshots were heard inside the school at 10am local time (9am BST) on Tuesday morning.
Local newspaper Kronen Zeitung reported that there were at least five fatalities inside the school and that police were searching the building. Police have not yet confirmed the number of casualties.
The public has been asked to avoid the area.
Footage showed dozens of police cars and ambulances racing to the scene.
