At the ongoing court hearing on April 28 at the Baku Military Court, a video material containing notes from former Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan regarding the occupation of Azerbaijan’s Shusha district by Armenian armed forces was demonstrated, SİA informs.
Sargsyan stated that the importance of the Shusha operation was crucial. He said: "The importance of this operation was so great that Robert Kocharyan himself participated."
The trial continues for Armenian citizens accused of crimes against peace and humanity, including war crimes, acts of terrorism, the preparation and waging of aggressive war, genocide, violations of war laws and rules, forcible seizure and retention of power, as well as financing terrorism, among other offenses stemming from Armenia's military aggression.
