Mines planted by the Armenian armed forces during the occupation, the Patriotic War and after the liberation of the territories remain a serious threat to the life and health of innocent people, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman's Office said in a statement, SİA informs.
According to the statement, the number of mine victims since 1991 has exceeded 3,400, of which 359 are children and 38 are women.
