At least 10 people were killed in Israeli air strikes targeting the city of Nawa in the southern Syrian province of Daraa, Syria TV reported.
Previously, the Al-Ikhbaria television said the Israeli military struck the settlements of Tel Juma and Tel al-Jabiyah not far from Nawa. In turn, the Al Watan newspaper reported that Israeli troops entered Nawa but had to retreat amid heavy resistance from the locals.
Earlier on Wednesday, Israeli fighter jets attacked military airfields in the central provinces of Hama and Homs, delivering over 20 strikes in total. One more air raid targeted the T4 airfield not far from Palmyra. A military facility in Syria’s capital Damascus also came under attack.
