At least 15 people were killed in wildfires in South Korea, the country’s Yonhap news agency reported citing officials.
The report says 12 people were killed in the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do and three more - in Gyeongsangnam-do.
The wildfires swept through country’s southeast on March 21. The government declared the state of emergency in three regions - the Ulsan Metropolitan City and the provinces of Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do. More than 3,000 people have been evacuated.
