The death toll in the fire at the Kartalkaya ski resort in Türkiye's Bolu province has been confirmed at 78.
SİA informs via Anadolu that the Ministry of Justice provided this information based on current final results.
The hotel fire occurred on the night of January 21. There were 238 guests in total at the facility during the fire. January 22 was declared a day of mourning in the country. Yesterday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Bolu province and attended the farewell ceremony of the Gultekin family who lost their lives in the incident.
