Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Health: Third survivor of AZAL plane crash discharged from hospital
Kyrgyz Health Ministry's press center announced today that the third survivor of the AZAL plane crash near Aktau has been discharged from the National Hospital. The patient's condition is reported to be satisfactory, Report informs via Kyrgyz media.
The Embraer 190 aircraft, operated by AZAL, tragically crashed on the morning of December 25, near the city of Aktau. Preliminary investigations suggest that the plane crashed due to physical and technical external interference that occurred in Russian airspace over Grozny. The devastating incident claimed the lives of 38 people, while 29 survivors were hospitalized.
Among the injured were three Kyrgyzstan citizens, who were transported back to their homeland on December 30 to continue their treatment. On January 8, it was reported that two of the Kyrgyzstan survivors had already been discharged.
