An explosion occurred in a private house in the village of Novkhani, Absheron region, and the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately deployed to the area, the ministry told APA.
2 people were pulled out alive from under the rubble thanks to the operational search and rescue measures carried out by rescuers and handed over to the relevant authorities.
Reported that the injured people during the incident are the parents of the late chess grandmaster Vugar Hashimov.
The relevant agencies are investigating the incident.
