Fires claimed 35 lives in Azerbaijan during Jan-Sept 2024

During the first 9 months of 2024, the number of fires investigated reached 1,351 in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told SİA.

Noted that 35 people lost their lives, and 163 were injured in these fires. Compared to last year, this represents an increase of 9 fatalities (35%) and 39 injuries (31%).
