Kazak law enforcement officers have brought a person from Azerbaijan suspected of establishing and leading a criminal group dealing with smuggling, the Kazakh media wrote citing the General Prosecutor's Office of the country, SİA reports.
It was noted that the suspect led a criminal group involved in smuggling consumer goods to Kazakhstan in 2016-2018, as well as avoided paying customs duties and taxes.
He has evaded the investigation after committing the crimes and was put on international wanted list.
Currently, the suspect has been placed in the detention center of Aktau city.
