A teacher in Astara passed away during the lesson, SIA refers to Lent.az.
The incident occurred on Monday at the Artupa village secondary school in the Astara district.
History teacher Baloglan Aliyev passed away during the first lesson. It is reported that the teacher suddenly fell ill during the lesson, and died due to a sudden deterioration of his condition and high blood pressure.
Aliyev had been engaged in pedagogical activities for more than 40 years. He worked as a teacher, deputy head of the department, and director of the school at Artupa school.
Baloglan Aliyev, a methodologist of the Astara Education Sector, would have turned 65 in January and was preparing to retire.
