In 2023, 620 people committed suicide in Azerbaijan, said Kamran Aliyev, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan at the board meeting held at the Prosecutor General's Office, dedicated to discussing the state of work done by the prosecutor's office in 2023 in the field of combating crime, investigative work, prosecutorial control, and upcoming tasks, APA reports.
He noted that 180 of the suicide incidents were recorded in Baku, and 440 in other regions and cities of the country.
