In 2023, 15,161 natural and man-made incidents occurred in Azerbaijan, said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to the Ministry, this indicator is 1553 incidents or 9% less than 2022.
As a result of natural and man-made incidents, 62 people died and 235 people were injured.
26 people were rescued by the rescuers of the Ministry, and 2790 people were evacuated.
