A fuze belonging to OG-9 ammunition exploded in Huseynalilary village of Jabrayil district of Azerbaijan on August 25, 2023, the Press Service of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told SİA.
A minesweeper of a local company Habib Gasimov (born in 1999) involved in demining operations got injured as a result of the explosion. The victim suffered from "scarred punctured wounds on the inner surface of his left hand, small gunpowder burns on the inner surface of both calves."The condition of Habib is stable. His life is not in danger.
