As a result of a provocation of the Armenian side, Azerbaijani Army soldier Nazarov Ismat Ramiz oglu was slightly injured in a fire launched from the opposite side.
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense reported that the wounded soldier was immediately provided with the first aid and evacuated to a military medical facility. His condition is not life-threatening.
The Azerbaijani Army units are taking decisive retaliatory measures.
"We declare that all responsibility for the consequences of the provocations committed by the opposite side lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia," the statement says.
