Explosion hits prison in Iran

An explosion occurred in Evin prison in Tehran, SİA reports citing ISNA.

It was noted that due to the unusually hot weather, a large fire followed by an explosion occurred on the grounds of the Evin prison in Tehran.

As a result, many landmines around the prison exploded. Firefighting forces were dispatched to the area. There are no reports of casualties or injuries.
