The captain of the plane flying Sharm-el-Sheikh - Atyrau of "Air Astana" airline sent an emergency landing request to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the press service of AZAL told SIA.
According to the report, the reason for the emergency landing was the sudden deterioration of the health of one of the passengers on the plane.
"Airbus A320neo" plane successfully landed at Baku airport at 16:50 local time.
Immediately after landing, the passenger was handed over to the emergency medical team and taken to one of the capital's clinics.
