On May 1, 2023, a mine explosion occurred in an area that was not cleared of mines in the area of Cojug Marjanli of Jabrayil district, SIA reports.
The press services of the Demining Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs jointly released information on the event.
According to information, a resident of Gazakhlar village, Fuzuli district, Alishov Oktay son of Bayram, born in 1964, engaged in livestock farming, while riding a horse, crossed the mine-free area and died as a result of an anti-tank mine explosion.
