The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested Thursday, the alleged leaker of classified documents about the war in Ukraine and dozens of other topics, SİA reports citing Teletrader.
The suspect is 21-year-old Jack Teixeira, who allegedly made the leak via Discord in a group called Thug Shaker Central. Teixeira is a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
Minutes after the arrest, Attorney General Merrick Garland confirmed Teixeira's detention at his residence in North Dighton "in connection with an investigation into alleged unauthorized removal, retention, and transmission of classified national defense information."
