A March 23 document said the UK has the largest number of special forces in the war-torn country at 50, SİA reports citing BBC.
Latvia has 17, France 15, the US 14 and the Netherlands 1, according to the document.
No details are given of where the forces are or what they are doing but Moscow is expected to use the leak as evidence of Nato involvement in Ukraine.
The UK's Ministry of Defence said in a tweet that there is a "serious level of inaccuracy" in the leaked documents.
"Readers should be cautious about taking at face value allegations that have the potential to spread misinformation," it said.
Some Pentagon officials have been quoted saying the documents are genuine.
