Azerbaijan State Border Service (SBS) prevented a drug smuggling attempt from Iran, SİA reports.
According to SBS, on March 26, at 00:30 a.m., in the service territory of the border outpost of the "Goytapa" border detachment of Border Troops in Jalilabad district, 2 unknown persons attempted to smuggle 41 kilograms and 370 grams of narcotic drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.
The border violators were detained by technical means. Operational-investigative measures are being continued.
