A road accident occurred in Goychay on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was recorded on Nizami street of Goychay city, SIA reports.
According to preliminary information, 54-year-old Fakhraddin Khalilov, a resident of the Malli-Shikhli village of the region, died of a sudden heart attack while driving his VAZ 2107 car.
The car crashed into a "VAZ 2109" car owned by Ismikhan Mehdiyev, a 52-year-old resident of Goychay city, parked on the opposite side of the road. Both cars were seriously damaged during the incident.
Fakhraddin Khalilov, who passed away shortly after, was taken out of the crushed car with the help of nearby people and taken to the district central hospital.
Goychay District Police Department is investigating the facts of the incident.
