Ukraine's Interior Minister dies in helicopter crash

Ukraine’s Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky died in a helicopter crash in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, SİA informs, citing the National Police of Ukraine.

The State Emergency Service helicopter crashed on the morning of January 18. The crash also killed the First Deputy Minister and the Secretary of State.

A total of 19 dead are reported, including two children. Of these, nine were on board the helicopter.

Twenty-two victims are in the hospital, of which 10 are children.

There was an explosion and then a large fire near the kindergarten in the city of Brovary, Kyiv Oblast of Ukraine, as a result of a helicopter crash, SİA informs via Ukrainian media.

According to UNIAN, 5 people died, including children.

Meanwhile, Irina Pryanishnikova, the press secretary of the Kyiv Oblast police, said that one person had died.
