Iran executes two more participants of protests

Two men were hanged in Iran today.

SİA informs citing Reuters that 22-year-old Mohammad Mehdi and 20-year-old Seyyed Mohammal Hosseini were executed for the alleged murder of a security official during nationwide protests.

Unrest in Iran began on September 16 after the funeral of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. According to the official version, the police detained Amini for improperly wearing a headscarf. During interrogation, she suffered a heart attack from which she died.
