Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the action in the city of Shusha - on the road to Lachin, in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Kizybulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers.
Bonfires were left in the area where the protest action took place. Despite the frosty weather, eco-activists said that they will continue the action last night.
Note that the protesters demand that the service at all posts where Russian peacekeepers are located should be organized together with the relevant state institutions of Azerbaijan, and the illegal transportation and exploitation of natural resources should be stopped.
The peaceful protest action continues since December 12.
