Thirty-four children who lost their parents due to the war in Ukraine were sent to Turkiye, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska wrote on Twitter, SİA informs.
According to her, some children from the Sonechko orphanage in Odessa were evacuated to Turkiye following the agreement reached with the first lady of Turkiye, Emine Erdogan: "Children's safety is our priority. The youngest child is Sashko. He is ten months old. Children's comfort and rehabilitation are ensured."
Zelenska said it is an essential indicator of the results of the cooperation of the spouses of the leaders of the two countries. The first lady of Ukraine thanked everyone who made an effort in this regard.
