Baku State University gets featured in QS Business Master's Rankings 2026

Baku State University (BSU) has achieved a new international milestone by being included for the first time in the “QS Business Master's Rankings 2026: Management” published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), one of the world’s leading ranking organizations, the university told SİA.

According to QS results, BSU’s Master’s program in management was ranked in the global 201+ range, entering the ranking with the status of “New Entrant.”

The university distinguished itself across multiple criteria. In the “Diversity” category, reflecting the gender and international composition of students and faculty, BSU ranked in the 131–140 range. In the “Graduate Outcomes” category, which evaluates alumni career achievements, representation in prestigious positions, and professional accomplishments, the university was placed in the 151–200 range. Additionally, BSU scored in the 151–200 range for the “Leadership” criterion, which considers academic reputation, the impact of research, and the proportion of faculty with doctoral degrees.

The QS ranking evaluates Master’s programs in management worldwide based on alumni employment and employer reputation, academic and research impact, graduate achievements, internationalization, and educational efficiency.

BSU’s performance in these areas enhances its global recognition, strengthens its position as a leading higher education institution in Azerbaijan, and demonstrates its commitment to international standards in education and research.
