The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Foundation has granted ADA University $100,000 to support the university’s ICPC community, SİA reports.
ICPC Foundation President Bill Poucher announced the grant during the closing ceremony of the 49th ICPC World Finals held in Baku. The grant was presented to ADA University Rector Hafiz Pashayev.
Bill Poucher emphasized that the fund’s contribution is intended to strengthen the ICPC community within the university.
“You can use this funding to promote ICPC as you see fit. For example, it may support student scholarships, special events, cover certain annual expenses, or facilitate teams’ participation in competitions in other cities and countries. The key is that the funds are used in line with the foundation’s charitable mission, promoting competitive programming in universities worldwide,” he said.
