The Azerbaijani government will cover the tuition fees for students enrolled in vocational schools in the Karabakh region.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed amendments to the laws "On Education" and "On Vocational Education," ensuring state financial support for students in the liberated territories.
According to the changes, from the 2025/2026 academic year through to 2027/2028, the government will fund the education of citizens resettled in the liberated areas who are enrolled in state, municipal, or private vocational institutions. This applies to students studying under both tuition-free and paid education schemes.
The law is set to come into effect on September 15.
