Azerbaijan and Israel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a cooperation program in the field of science, Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport, said in a post on X, according to SİA.
“As part of our visit to Israel, we met with Gila Gamliel, [Israeli] Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology. We discussed cooperation in the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space, and improving the legislative framework.
We invited Israeli technology companies to open offices in Azerbaijan, establish knowledge-based manufacturing facilities, IT training centers, and a Center of Excellence in the field of high technologies," the post reads.
It further notes that the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the program of cooperation in the field of science.
