"Moving a number of universities outside of Baku is not an exception," said Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"This is a very serious reform that must be implemented by Ministry of Education. I don't rule out that certain universities could be transferred and coul continue operating by establishing a common campus. This can be an important reform both in terms of the organization of education and for the improvement of inner city infrastructure. Over the next years, this matter will be able to be implemented by developing an action plan related to this matter together with the Ministry of Education," the Committee Chairman added.
