The science festival dedicated to the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" held at UNEC on March 1-27 has come to an end.
Professor Zahid Mammadov, Director of the Department of Organization and Management of Scientific Activities, delivered a report on the work done at the final event held on the Science Day.
Within the framework of the Science festival, the Professor held a conference on "Scientific activity in modern universities: new challenges, opportunities and solutions to complex tasks", 4 round tables, 4 scientific seminars, 6 open scientific and popular lectures, periodic scientific publications of UNEC, as well as doctoral studies. He noted that 18 events were held, including 2 debates and one meeting. "An exhibition of books by professors and teachers of UNEC and a book sale-fair were organized with the participation of several publishing houses," the Professor stated.
Prof. Mammadov also spoke about the importance of holding the Science Festival in spreading and promoting scientific achievements to the general public and increasing the interest of young people in scientific activities.
