Baku State University establishes two new departments after reform decision

Structural reforms are being carried out at Baku State University (BSU) in order to increase efficiency, optimize and improve management in the organization of teaching and scientific activities, SIA reports, citing local media.

According to the report from the University, within the framework of structural reforms, the Department of Master's and Doctoral Studies was abolished. On its basis, the Doctorate Department at the Center for Organization of Scientific Activities and Innovations and the Master's Department at the Center for Organization and Management of Teaching were established. A decision on this was made by the Scientific Council of the university.

The creation of new departments serves to further improve the quality of master's and doctoral education at BSU.
