Iran exports 50 million barrels of crude oil in two weeks

Iran exported 50 million barrels of crude oil in the past two weeks after the US lifted its blockade, SİA informs via Iranian media outlets.

The income from these exports amounted to approximately $3.5 billion, meaning Iran earned on average more than $233 million per day from crude oil sales.

It was noted that the blockade was lifted following a memorandum of mutual understanding signed between the United States and Iran on June 17. The US Treasury Department granted Iran a 60‑day permit, valid until August 21, for oil production and sales.
