Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov said the income tax holiday introduced for employees in Azerbaijan"s non-state and non-oil and gas sectors over the past seven years at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev was effective, Report informs.
Speaking at an event titled "Entrepreneurship development means a strong economy" in Baku, Jabbarov said the number of hired employees in these sectors exceeded 1 million.
He noted that employment was formalized to a significant extent and the issue of involving working people in the pension system was almost resolved.
