In the first quarter of 2026, 268 projects were implemented in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, SİA informs, citing the Finance Ministry.
A total of 386.2 million manats ($227.2 million) was spent on these projects, accounting for 11% of actual allocations.
During the three-month period, 41 of the projects implemented in Karabakh and East Zangazur were in transport, 15 in water management and land reclamation, six in energy and industry, 19 in defense and law enforcement, 171 in the social sphere, and 16 in other areas.
During the reporting period, 185 million manats ($108.8 million) was spent on transport projects, with execution at 17.6%; 153 million manats ($90 million) on social projects, with execution at 9%; 26.3 million manats ($15.5 million) on defense and law enforcement projects, with execution at 18.3%; and 21.9 million manats ($12.9 million) on other projects, with execution at 9%.
No funds were allocated for the implementation of water management and land reclamation projects or energy projects.
