Azerbaijan plans major data centers to open by 2027

Azerbaijan has begun construction on two new data centers that are set to become the largest in the country and the surrounding region, officials said, SİA reports.

Farrukh Farajullayev, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at state telecom company AzInTelecom, told the Baku Fintech Forum-2025 that the centers, located in the Hacıqabul and Absheron districts, are scheduled for completion by 2027.

“These data centers will not only serve Azerbaijan but will also be among the largest in the region,” Farajullayev said.
