Trump says US, other countries to engage in Gaza reconstruction

US President Donald Trump announced that the US, alongside other countries, will participate in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

"I think you're going to see people getting along, and you'll see Gaza being rebuilt," Trump told Fox News in an interview, noting that the US intends to establish a "Council of Peace," which is "going to have a lot to do with the whole Gaza situation." The White House host also described the cooperation of Middle Eastern countries as "amazing." "They have some countries with extraordinary wealth, and just spending a small portion of that wealth can do so much for that area," Trump added.
