Sea Breeze Projects highlighted at 1st Azerbaijan Investment Forum panel on real estate
The First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in Baku hosted a panel discussion titled “Sea Breeze and Real Estate,” focusing on evolving trends in property development and large-scale urban projects, SİA reports.
The session, moderated by Stanislav Aleksandrov of Agalarov Development, explored global and local real estate market shifts, modern urban planning approaches, and the role of major infrastructure projects in shaping national economic growth.
A presentation on the upcoming World Urban Forum, set to take place in Baku in 2026, was also delivered during the discussions.
Keynote speakers included Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, and Emin Agalarov, President of Agalarov Development and founder of Sea Breeze. They shared insights on the development of residential complexes in Azerbaijan and abroad, emerging housing formats, market dynamics, and the wider economic impact of urban transformation projects on employment, transport, tourism, and related industries.
International participants such as Darren Comber, CEO of Scott Brownrigg; Mohammed Alsudairy, Committee Chairman and PIF representative at New Murabba; Pyotr Kudryavtsev, founder and head of Citymakers International (CM International); Ali A. Alraouf, architectural and urban planning expert; David Jenkins, Vice President of Business Development for Eastern Europe, Balkans, Georgia, and Central Asia at Radisson Hotel Group; Alexis Feuillat, Development Director for the CIS, Türkiye, and Israel at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG); Umut Kara, Vice President of International Marketing at Merit Hotels & Casinos; and Ritvika Sethi, Senior Manager at MEAIT & Rixos & All-Inclusive Collection, also discussed opportunities and innovations in urban development.
The panel was accompanied by a series of cooperation agreements involving Sea Breeze Resort and international partners.
Sea Breeze Resort and Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts by IHG signed a memorandum of understanding to build a four-star hotel with 195 rooms. The agreement was signed by Emin Agalarov and Alexis Feuillat.
Another deal was reached between Sea Breeze Resort, MEAIT, and Rixos for the construction of a five-star hotel including 504 rooms and 20 villas, signed by Agalarov and Ritvika Sethi.
Sea Breeze Resort also formalized cooperation with Digital Residence, with the agreement signed by Agalarov and Denis Rudnik, Project Manager at Digital Residence.
In addition, Sea Breeze Resort signed a memorandum with Sea Breeze Health Valley to promote medical tourism projects. The document was signed by Agalarov and Konstantin Grinfeld, Managing Director of Sea Breeze Health Valley.
A separate memorandum between the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABIF) and Sea Breeze Health Valley was signed by Yasin Jalilov, Deputy Executive Director of Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC (AIC), and Grinfeld. The agreement covers joint evaluation and feasibility studies of potential medical cluster initiatives.
Another tripartite memorandum was concluded between Sea Breeze Resort, Sana Hospital Group, and Don Agro International to establish an international multidisciplinary medical center. The agreement was signed by Grinfeld, Sven Heininger of Sana Hospital Group, and Marat Devlet-Kildeyev, CEO of Don Agro International Ltd.
Finally, Sea Breeze Resort and Radisson Hotel Group signed a memorandum for the creation of a Radisson Blu hotel in the Sea Breeze area. The agreement, signed by Agalarov and David Jenkins, aims to establish and manage a new facility that will meet international hospitality standards, support tourism, and attract global investment.
