Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held talks with Marco Arcelli, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi-based ACWA Power, focusing on ongoing and future joint projects, SİA reports.
Discussions covered the progress of a planned seawater desalination facility, while both sides also assessed opportunities for expanding collaboration in sustainable water management.
The sides also underlined the role of such initiatives in advancing public–private partnerships in Azerbaijan and promoting the transfer of modern technologies and innovations.
