Azerbaijan’s gross domestic product (GDP) reached 83.3 billion manat ($49 billion) in the first eight months of 2025, reflecting a 1 percent increase compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee told SİA.
The added value of the economy’s oil and gas sector fell by 2.1 percent, while the non-oil and gas sector grew by 2.6 percent.
Industry accounted for 34.9 percent of GDP production, trade and repair of vehicles for 10.3 percent, transport and storage for 7.1 percent, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries for 6.3 percent, construction for 6.3 percent, accommodation and food services for 2.8 percent, and information and communication for 1.8 percent. Other sectors made up 20.7 percent, and net taxes on products and imports contributed 9.8 percent to GDP.
GDP per capita amounted to 8,111 manat ($4,771).
