The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CBA) has launched new digital platforms to advance the country’s digital financial ecosystem, enhance public awareness, and strengthen communication with partners, SİA reports.
The CBA’s next initiative in this effort is the launch of a new information platform, featuring an updated website and dedicated social media channels.
The new website, fintech.cbar.az, focuses on financial technologies (fintech) and innovations, providing users with the latest developments in Azerbaijan’s digital financial ecosystem. The platform consolidates CBA’s regulatory activities, planned initiatives, and information on digital solutions in one accessible location.
The website features a user-friendly interface and offers detailed information on special regulatory regimes, open banking concepts, virtual assets, and distributed Know Your Customer (KYC) systems.
In addition, CBA has launched “Fintech_by_cbar” pages on LinkedIn and Instagram to share the latest domestic and international news in fintech. The pages will offer interactive content aimed at raising public awareness and supporting knowledge exchange in the sector.
CBA expects the new digital platforms to promote innovation-focused collaboration with ecosystem participants and contribute to the sustainable development of Azerbaijan’s financial sector.
