Today marks the start of the “European Sustainable Energy Week 2025” (EUSEW2025) in Brussels, where issues related to achieving a fair and competitive green transition will be discussed.
According to the Report, various events will take place throughout the week in the political capital of Europe, organized by the European Commission. Among them is the 10th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency hosted by the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Among the participants of the conference is the Azerbaijani delegation, headed by Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov. The minister will also deliver a speech at the conference.
In addition, this week Minister Shahbazov and EU Commissioner for Energy Dan Jørgensen will meet as part of the next round of the EU-Azerbaijan Energy Dialogue. This dialogue traditionally follows the meetings held in Baku within the framework of the Advisory Councils on the Southern Gas Corridor and green energy.
The meeting will summarize the results of energy cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan and will address its future development, as well as the transition to clean energy, including policies on renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and methane emissions.
