Hungary considers COP29 key stage after Paris Agreement

The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change has been the most significant stage since the signing of the Paris Agreement, Mark Alfoldy-Boruss, Deputy State Secretary for Energy Policy at the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, stated at the 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

"We consider COP29 a turning point after the Paris Agreement. Now there are clearly defined goals and financial sources. We understand how to move forward to achieve them. Article 6, dedicated to climate financing, is an important and effective tool for implementing and financing green projects worldwide," he noted.
