The State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan and the National Center for Sustainable Energy under the Energy Ministry of Moldova signed a Memorandum of Understanding "On promoting cooperation in the field of renewable energy," SİA with reference to the Agriculture Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The document was signed on Friday in Baku within the framework of the sixth meeting of the intergovernmental commission (IGC) on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
The memorandum provides for expanding the exchange of experience in energy sector between the two countries, including the use of renewable energy sources, developing cooperation in research initiatives for the development of renewable energy technologies and innovative solutions.
The co-chair of the IGC from the Azerbaijani side is the Minister of Agriculture.
