In January 2025, the value of Azerbaijan's non-oil-gas sector exports increased by 10.7% compared to the same period last year, amounting to $245.8 million, SİA informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The export value of the country's food products increased by 19.7% over the past year, reaching $84.2 million.
During the reporting period, the value of agricultural product exports increased by 10.4% to $64.8 million, while the value of agro-industrial product exports increased by 44.3% to $22.2 million. Overall, the combined export value of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 17.5% to $87.1 million.
Throughout the year, the export value of ferrous metals and products made from them increased 2.8 times, the export value of sugar and confectionery products made from sugar increased by 34.9%, the export value of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 39.2%, and the export value of organic chemical compounds increased by 52.4%.
